What’s the best lesson you’ve learn’t along the way?

Each moment is fresh and new and bursting with infinite possibilities. Always try to come back to the moment.

What’s been your best decision?

My best decision I every made was to quit grad school and move to Philadelphia, even though I didn’t know a soul.

How did you get your career start and what path have you taken since?

Always wanted to be an actress. Got a BFA in theatre and, with lots of interesting stops inbetween, I acted professionally for 17 years, give or take. In my longest acting job I helped write proposals and raise money. We got the first MAC after our typewriter broke. Slow transition to graphic designer. Move to CA. Lots of synchronistic twists and turns led me to Margaret Garcia’s painting workshop in January, 2009. In January, 2011 Margaret announced it was time for me to do a solo show. I’ve been busy every since. So lucky!

Who inspires you?

My women friends, long time and new, inspire me every day. They are creative, curious, positive, excited by life and the world, powerful, vulnerable, aware of their limitation and trying to move beyond them.

What is your favorite room in the house?

My front room is my favorite room in our house. It has a huge picture window facing West that overlooks our beautiful back yard.

Scout my wonderful rescue dog; Pippa the sweetest cat who ever adopted us; life with my great husband Jim; the rotating wall collection of my paintings; our large living room window
