Thank you Margaret Garcia’s Monday painting workshop! Every artist there last night had their head down working on a painting—from a photo, from a still life of white lilies, or another of a single conch shell. Concentrating and challenging ourselves, everyone positive and supportive of the others.
I brought Adams Hill to the workshop and made huge progress. Details of the skyline are done. The middle ground is coming along. The neighborhood on either side of the street is getting defined. For my final step, I’ll glaze atmosphere over all the details in the distance and much of the middle.
When I see the light at the end of the tunnel I get excited! Adams Hill is coming into its own.
